I love decorating for the 4th of July!
It is such a fun holiday here at the lake where everyone gets very festive, hops from house to house, bbq to bbq, party to party.
I usually don’t go too overboard with the decorating but this year I am doing a bunch outside on the deck. So if you are looking for outdoor 4th of July decorating ideas, this is for you!
Let’s start with any easy tablescape for dining outdoors.
Blue and white ginger jars make the perfect vases for inexpensive flowers from Trader Joes. These are chamomile and I love the simplicity of them. You could do one big arrangement in the center, or more depending on the size of your table.

Placing a festive red white and blue table runner down the center of the table is also a great way to add to the theme. If you don’t have a runner, I have been known to use a piece of fabric or even a folded sheet in place of one.

These star glasses were a lucky thrift shop find but I found some similar ones here if you are interested.

Unrelated to the 4th of July, but I must mention…..

Since I used 2 vases, I needed something in the center. I found this neutral wood star here and thought it was the perfect filler.

We have 2 sectionals and 2 chairs, so I really like to pile on the pillows.

I found some really fun pillows that are subtle hints of red and blue. More like a muted red, almost pink, and a light denim color.

The chambray and muted red pillows are all from this great shop I just discovered.

The denim star pillows were from here last year. Unfortunately I don’t think they are selling them this year.
