creating an outdoor dining experience

As the world opens back up and we are finally able to have guests over and entertain, we want our outdoor entertaining areas to reflect the inside aesthetic of our homes as well.

In doing so, our eyes have a place to rest, everything feels cohesive, and it creates a relaxing restful environment and feel.

I recently partnered with Walmart to create an outdoor dining experience.

We are so ready to hop back into entertaining and I created this table setting for an upcoming birthday we have in our family.

I kept in mind the neutrals on the inside of our house, and carried those colors through to the outside.

Walmart Home is one of my favorite places to shop seasonally.

They always have a great selection of chic products to choose from.

Bring a bluetooth speaker out and set the mood with music.

Now, let’s take a look at the details!

The garden center at Walmart stores has some great plants.

I picked up this aloe plant and a few succulents.

This large pot is perfect for the aloe!

I used to have this mirror inside but brought it out to create this outdoor “dining room”

We have had so much sunshine lately and we have been spending so much time out here.

I not only kept the colors and look in check with the inside of our home, but also with the furnishings on the other end of the deck.

I added these great pillows to our sectionals and lounge chairs to tie the two areas together.

I also added them to the head chairs at the dining table.

These lanterns have battery operated candles in them. I have them set to come on at dusk and with the timer, they turn themselves off 6 hours later.
